Printed version of the DR class 231 in Era IV.

Based exactly on the prototype, the model has the large front and side windows of the first delivery series. The separately attached handrails in front of the driver's cabs and the "tidy" roof were just as typical. Model railroad enthusiasts should also be impressed by the precisely reproduced, robust bogie detailing, which can withstand the tough everyday operating conditions on the model railroad. The motor, which has two flywheels, together with the heavy die-cast zinc frame and the elegant cardan shaft drive on four axles (two wheels covered with traction tires in a diagonal arrangement) give the model excellent running characteristics and high tractive forces. The model has a modern PluX22 interface for the uncomplicated installation of a decoder. Retrofitting with sound is possible.
