Description

Class 219 diesel locomotive with prototypical DB AG paint scheme and lettering in Era V with bib and headlights at the top.

Thanks to the powerful engine with precisely balanced flywheels, the PIKO model of the 219 impresses with its smooth running and considerable tractive power. The shape and color design of the locomotive, known as the "submarine" because of its portholes, is not inferior to its precision engineering. A digital interface in accordance with NEM 652 makes it easy to install a suitable decoder. The model is also prepared for retrofitting sound with the largest possible loudspeaker.
