Description

The model of the impressive BB 60000 diesel locomotive from PIKO shows all the relevant details of its prototype, impresses with the finest paintwork and lettering, applied handrails and railings, finely engraved bogie covers and cleanly executed filigree lamps. LEDs are used for the lighting. The standard cab lighting and the direction-dependent marker lights can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. All four axles are driven by a powerful five-pole motor with two precisely balanced flywheels, which ensures excellent running characteristics. The PIKO model also has a heavy die-cast zinc frame for high tractive power. The clearly laid out circuit board with PluX22 interface is prepared for uncomplicated retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker. As an option, the BB 60000 model comes with attachable dummy brake hoses and closed interchangeable skirts. The sound version with the factory-fitted PIKO sound decoder can handle the data formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4. The built-in loudspeaker is tuned to the locomotive type. Many typical locomotive sounds such as engine noises, signal horns, brake squeal and other switchable functions can be called up individually. Sound reinforcement is also possible in analog operation - only with engine noises.
