A total of up to 44 switchable functions are available, which can be set individually. The engine sound can also be called up in analog mode so that the sound effect can also be used without digital operation. The driving trailer is also equipped with a function decoder that allows the tail light to be switched independently of the direction of travel.
The set comes ex works with switchable interior lighting and driver's cab lighting, which impressively sets the scene for the model, particularly when driving in darkened rooms. The interior lighting is fitted as standard in both the driving and control car and can be switched in digital mode. The Piko 96836 set has an NEM coupler pocket and a close coupler link, which enables a stable and prototypical connection between the driving and driving trailer.
