The PIKO 97139 Corail 2nd class passenger coach in the SNCF version is a classic representative of the French express train service of Era IV. The Corail cars introduced in the 1970s represented a new level of comfort in long-distance service on the French state railroad. This type of coach was used on many national and international connections and shaped the image of SNCF trains for decades.
