About the model: The V75 switcher locomotive is a German State Railroad model and is from Era III. This is a finished model that has a digital interface (Plux12) and 3 headlights and 2 marker lights (alternating direction of travel). The locomotive is 144.5 mm long, equipped with a close coupling and in H0 gauge.
The prototype: The T 435.0 series was built by CKT in Prague from 1958. The ČSD put 150 units into service. Another 83 machines were delivered to industrial companies. In 1962, the DR procured 20 diesel locomotives of this type for shunting services at Leipzig Central Station. 18 locomotives were also sold to GDR industrial companies. In addition to scheduled shunting duties, they could also be seen in front of local freight trains, construction trains and occasionally even passenger trains.
