The Rivarossi ETR 450 "Giotto" is an impressive high-speed multiple unit from Italy - now as a detailed H0 model. This 4-part basic set faithfully reproduces the Intercity IC 500/517 "Giotto" from FS in Era V, including factory-installed DCC sound decoder and digital equipment.

International comfort and Italian elegance

The ETR 450 was one of Italy's first genuine high-speed units in the 1980s/90s. The model represents the combination of 1st and 2nd class and perfectly captures the characteristic appearance of this legendary train - from the modernized windows to the headlights and the latest generation pantographs (52AV).

Digital operation with realistic sound

With an integrated multi-protocol sound decoder and MTC21 (21-pin) interface, the train is perfectly equipped for modern digital layouts. The functional lighting changes red/white depending on the direction of travel and combines with interior lighting for a harmonious driving image on your H0 layout.

Rich in detail & operationally powerful

Particularly noteworthy are the authentic details such as interior lighting, several head and tail lights, as well as the proven KK kinematics and NEM coupler pocket. The train requires a small minimum radius of approx. 356.5 mm, which also makes it suitable for demanding routes.
