Roco 6200212 H0 Set of 3 "Voralpen Express" - Car set 1 with SOB, BT and SBB

With the Roco 6200212 wagon set, you can bring a piece of Swiss railroad variety to your H0 layout. The set depicts the Pre-Alpine Express of Era IV-V - a joint project of several Swiss railroad companies. It contains three finely detailed passenger coaches as they were used between Lake Constance and Lucerne. A must for all fans of the Swiss private and state railroads!

Set contents - three companies, one express

The set consists of:

• 1x EW-IV 2nd class passenger coach, class B, of the Südostbahn (SOB)
• 1x EW-IV 2nd class passenger coach, class B, of the Bodensee-Toggenburg-Bahn (BT)
• 1x class D baggage car of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB)

Each car is built to scale, equipped with complete interior fittings and has an NEM 362 coupler with close coupling kinematics for realistic transitions. The total length over buffers is 816 mm.

Interior lighting can be retrofitted

All cars are prepared for retrofitting with LED interior lighting. Roco recommends the interior lighting, item no. 4000005, which makes the train particularly attractive for night operation or in station and stabling facilities with lighting accents.

Voralpen-Express - the showcase project of the private railroads

The Voralpen-Express was a joint project of the SOB, BT and SBB. The trains connected Romanshorn on Lake Constance with Lucerne through the picturesque foothills of the Alps. Coaches from the fleets of all three railroad companies were used - exactly as shown in this model set. This train was a symbol of the cooperation and quality of Swiss local and long-distance transportation.
