With the Roco 6200256 three-axle Pw3 pr99a baggage car, you can add an authentic and functional vehicle to your historic DRG train sets. Typical for Era II, the car comes in a version without a boarding platform - ideal for main and branch lines in combination with 2nd and 3rd class passenger cars. The high-quality design makes it the perfect addition to trains with a Prussian character.
Particularly noteworthy is the laterally adjustable middle axle, which enables better cornering and thus reliable operation even on smaller radii. The lack of a boarding platform gives the model elegant lines and is based on the late designs of Prussian baggage wagons.
The class Pw3 pr99a was intended for use in the classic passenger service of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft. As a baggage car, it was responsible for transporting luggage, mail and official goods - an indispensable part of every train of Era II. In combination with the matching seating cars, the result is a harmonious, prototypical train set with historical flair.
Thanks to the NEM 362 shaft and close coupling kinematics, the car can be easily integrated into existing trains. The DC car can also be converted for AC systems with an AC wheel set (item no. 6563). With a buffer length of 160 mm, the car is an ideal match for the other models in the Roco Epoch II series.
