The Roco 6220199 brings a modernized SBB control car in a refit design to your H0 AC layout. Equipped with a function decoder, digitally switchable high beam, cab and interior lighting as well as numerous filigree add-on parts, this model is the ideal addition to your EW-IV train sets with Re 460 or comparable locomotives.

From Eurocity to IC commuter - the path of the IC Bt

As part of the commuterization of Swiss long-distance services from 1996, SBB procured a total of 60 IC Bt driving trailers. With space for 62 passengers, bicycle, wheelchair and baby carriage compartments and a bioreactor toilet, the coach was designed to meet modern requirements. The head shape and driver's cab are visually adapted to the Re 460 - for a uniform appearance in the train formation.

Refit version with digital light functions

The model corresponds to the refit version with a colored children's compartment. It is technically impressive with an integrated function decoder with digitally switchable high beam, cab and interior lighting. The LED headlights change between white and red depending on the direction of travel - prototypical and low-maintenance.

Variety of details for AC operation

With a length of 303 mm over buffers, NEM 362 coupling shaft and close coupling kinematics, the model is fully compatible with modern SBB train sets. Separately attached grab irons, windshield wipers and the SBB logo underline the high production quality.
