This model is the AC version with an integrated function decoder for the light change.

City-Bahn Cologne-Gummersbach: The successful project of the 1980s

The eye-catching livery, based on the design of the S-Bahn trains, was introduced in 1984 as part of a local transport pilot project on the Cologne-Gummersbach line. The aim was to make regional transport more attractive and prevent line closures.
