With the type Y/B-70 1st class compartment coach of class Aa, Roco is bringing a stylish passenger coach of the Czechoslovakian State Railways (ČSD) for Era IV to the TT tracks. This coach impresses with its authentic design, high level of detail and the typical design of the international express train coaches of the Eastern Bloc.
The Y/B-70 design was an internationally standardized wagon type that was used in many countries of the former Eastern Bloc. In the ČSD fleet, the 1st class coach with compartments was a comfortable travel option - often used in international trains or high-quality domestic connections in the 1970s and 1980s.
The model impresses with its prototypical paintwork, fine engravings and detailed interior design. The typical window layout and the striking shape of the car body have been faithfully reproduced. An ideal vehicle for authentic train formation with ČSD locomotives.
The car is equipped with close coupling kinematics in accordance with NEM 358 and is ideal for operation on TT layouts. Interior lighting can be retrofitted as an option (item no. 4080001) and ensures atmospheric night journeys on your layout.
