With the Y/B-70 type Ba 2nd class compartment coach, Roco presents a faithfully designed model of a widely used Era IV ČSD coach. The car is ideal for realistic train compositions in the style of the 1970s and 1980s and brings authentic Eastern Bloc flair to the TT layout.
The Y/B-70 wagon design was the backbone of many passenger trains in the Eastern Bloc and was often used on international express services. This 2nd class ČSD coach with compartments is an example of the comfort and functionality of that time. The model shows all the typical features - from the window layout to the striking paintwork.
Equipped with a complete interior and coupling kinematics in accordance with NEM 358, the car is impressive both as a showcase model and in operation. The interior lighting can be optionally retrofitted (item no. 4080001), which creates a harmonious atmosphere, especially when driving at night.
This model can be perfectly combined with other wagons in the Y/B-70 series - e.g. the 1st class wagon (item no. 6280039) or a variant with a different road number (item no. 6280041) - to form a realistic set of wagons based on the historical ČSD model.
