The Roco 6600165 class Ks stake car is a classic representative of Italian Era IV rail freight traffic. Used by the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), this model reflects the typical image of freight transportation in the 1970s and 1980s. With its variably mountable side stanchions, the wagon offers a realistic appearance and a high degree of flexibility when depicting different loading situations.
The wagon has fine engravings, neatly executed printing and realistic stanchions. These can be mounted in both upright and folded-down positions - perfect for depicting empty or loaded conditions. This makes the Ks trolley ideal for transporting timber, steel, pipes or pallets.
Equipped with an NEM 362 coupling shaft and close coupler link, the wagon can be easily integrated into any freight train formation. Direct current operation (DC analog) is standard, an AC wheel set (item number 40196) enables use on alternating current systems.
