The Roco 6600218 set contains three Pol-Miedz Trans (PMT) class Fals self-unloading wagons from Era VI. These modern freight cars are specially designed for the transportation of bulk goods such as coal, ore or other raw materials. With their robust construction and prototypical design, they are the ideal addition to realistic block trains or mixed freight trains of the present.

Prototype and use

The Fals class is a further development of classic self-unloading wagons and is used throughout Europe in heavy goods traffic. At Pol-Miedz Trans, these cars are used in particular for the transportation of ores and metallurgical products. In Era VI, they characterize numerous freight trains in Eastern European and international rail freight traffic due to their striking appearance and their mass use.

Detailed model realization

The three wagons are finely detailed and accurately reproduced. The lettering and paintwork correspond to the prototype and give the train set a realistic appearance. With a total length of 495 mm over buffers, the wagons are an impressive part of any H0 layout, whether as an independent block train or as an addition to other freight wagons.

Technical features

The set is equipped with NEM-362 coupler pockets and close coupler kinematics, which makes it possible to use the cars safely with narrow car crossings. Suitable AC wheel sets (item no. 40196) are available for use on Märklin layouts. The cars are designed for operation in the direct current system (DC Analog).
