With the Roco 6600224 wagon set you get two detailed 4-axle low side wagons of the type TP of the French State Railways (SNCF) from eras III-IV. Low side cars of this type were used universally for the transportation of bulky and heavy freight and shaped the image of European freight traffic in the middle of the 20th century.
The type TP was used in many European countries. The SNCF used these cars in large numbers for the transportation of steel, wood, machines and other bulky loads. Thanks to their low sides, they were particularly versatile and could also be covered with tarpaulins. The set perfectly reflects this prototype character and is ideal for internationally oriented model railway layouts.
The wagon set contains two low-sided wagons with different wheel sets - an authentic detail that adds variety to the wagon fleet. Both models are finely printed and feature prototypical engravings. With an overall length of 284 mm over buffers, the wagons are compact but impressive vehicles for H0 layouts.
The cars are equipped with coupler pockets in accordance with NEM 362 and close coupler kinematics, allowing them to be easily integrated into existing train formations. A suitable AC wheel set (item no. 53432000) is available for use on Märklin layouts.
The SNCF low side cars can be optimally combined with other French cars or with freight cars from other railroad companies to represent authentic international freight trains of Era III-IV. Whether in a mixed train formation or as part of a block train - this set brings French flair to your model railroad layout.
