As the second variant from the 6600394 display set, this single car allows you to individually extend existing ballast trains and create varied freight train formations. With its compact design and close-coupling mechanism, the model is ideally suited for modern rail transport in Era VI.
Ballast cars perform important tasks in the construction and maintenance of the rail network. They are used to transport track ballast, which is needed to stabilize the track bed and to renew track facilities. The Roco model depicts a Railpro Fccpps-class ballast car. As it is classified as Era VI, it pairs well with modern freight locomotives and contemporary freight cars. Especially when combined with other ballast cars, it allows you to create a convincing material train for modern freight transport.
As a single car from the Railpro display set, this version can be used specifically to expand an existing fleet. You can extend your existing ballast train or combine several matching cars into a new train set.
