Ballast cars are indispensable in railroad operations when tracks are being renewed, lines are being maintained, or new track layouts are being built. They enable the transport of the necessary ballast and are therefore an important part of specialized freight transport. The Roco model replicates a Railpro Fccpps-class ballast car. As it is classified as Era VI, it pairs perfectly with modern freight locomotives and contemporary freight cars. As a single car from the Railpro display set, this version can be used specifically to expand an existing car fleet.
