Roco BR 650 ODEG diesel railcar

Adtranz (later Stadler Rail) developed four-axle regional railcars with diesel engines for use on branch lines. These were marketed under the name "Regio Shuttle" or "RS1" for short. The vehicle concept was particularly well received by private railroads. By 2013, a total of almost 500 Regio Shuttles had rolled off the production line. The RS1s are designed for a top speed of 120 km/h and offer up to 101 seats and 94 standing places, depending on the variant.
