Technology & digital highlights

Equipped with four powered axles, a traction tire axle, flywheel mass and PluX22 digital decoder, the model offers excellent running characteristics. The smoke generator provides realistic steam from the chimney and can be controlled dynamically during operation. Thanks to switchable LED interior lighting, including separate cab lighting, the model is also an eye-catcher in the dark. The striking sound of the sound decoder rounds off the experience and brings Era III to life both acoustically and visually.

Fine detailing & construction

The locomotive is implemented in the design of the first series and impresses with a clear view between the boiler and frame, filigree lines under the boiler and delicately designed spoked wheels. The free-standing star on the smokebox door is a striking feature. Metal parts give the model additional stability and weight, while the lovingly designed driver's cab offers real model building depth. The striking blue paintwork with white decorative elements also makes this model a color highlight.

The CSD 477.0 series - a parrot on rails

The 477.0 series was CSD's last and technically most advanced steam locomotive series. Between 1951 and 1955, 60 machines were built at CKD Sokolovo in Prague. With an operating weight of around 131 tons, a top speed of 100 km/h and a starting tractive effort of almost 110 kN, it was considered one of the most powerful tender locomotives in Europe. Its colorful appearance earned it the nickname "Papousek" (parrot) - an allusion to its eye-catching design and elegant lines.
