Roco 7110049 H0 steam locomotive Reihe 56, CFL, Ep. III, DC-Sound Product Details

Description

Roco 7110049 H0 Series 56 CFL steam locomotive - DC sound model with international flair

With the Roco 7110049 steam locomotive 5605, Roco presents a detailed and powerful DC sound model of the Luxembourg State Railway (CFL) for Era III. The locomotive is based on the DRB class 52 (KDL 1), which played a central role in railroad operations in Luxembourg after the Second World War. This variant combines the robust design of the wartime locomotive with the finest model technology and a high degree of prototypical fidelity.

Digital technology and impressive tractive power

The model features a PluX16 digital decoder including realistic sound for DC operation. The locomotive is driven by two axles in the tender and a cardan shaft that transmits the power to all five driving axles of the locomotive - a total of seven driven axles ensure excellent traction. An integrated flywheel ensures smooth running characteristics. The 2 headlights with LED technology change over depending on the direction of travel. Compatibility with the Z21 driver's cab is a matter of course.

The finest model making meets CFL authenticity

With filigree spoked wheels made of metal and driving and coupling rods made of precision cast metal, the locomotive is not only a high-quality model visually, but also technically. The delicate CFL lettering and the realistic design make this model an eye-catcher on any international layout.

Historical background - CFL and the KDL 1

After the war, the need for powerful steam locomotives was also great in Luxembourg. The CFL therefore took over several DRB class 52 locomotives - incorporated as class 56 - and used them primarily on the northern line for passenger and freight services until 1961. The locomotives quickly became a permanent fixture in CFL operations and played a key role in the reconstruction and economic stabilization of the country.

Now available - CFL steam locomotive with sound and style

The Roco 7110049 steam locomotive class 56 (5605) is the perfect model for anyone who wants to combine international railroad history, technical sophistication and acoustic atmosphere in one model. Get it now for your H0 DC layout!
