The Roco 7300094 diesel locomotive 234 399 is a powerful model in the old red DR look with DB AG logo - typical of the transition period in the mid-1990s. Used in operating condition from 1994 to 1998, this model brings the unmistakable style of the class 234 to the H0 track - with high tractive power and operational reliability, ideal for long InterRegio and freight trains of Era IV to VI.
The 234 399 was created by converting the BR 232 (ex DR class 132) using bogies from the BR 130 for 140 km/h. The locomotive was thus designed for high-quality passenger trains. The locomotive was thus made fit for high-quality passenger services (IR and IC) - a highlight in German diesel traction!
