Are you looking for an authentic model of the Deutsche Reichsbahn for analog operation? With the Roco BR 110 in bordeaux red paintwork, you can get a faithful reconstruction of the early series variant on your Era IV layout - a must for fans of the DR and the V 100 Ost!
The class 110 diesel locomotive was the backbone of the DR's medium power range. Between 1966 and 1985, over 1,100 units were produced at VEB Lokomotivbau "Karl Marx" in Babelsberg. With this model, Roco has dedicated itself to the early series (V100 003-043) and implemented many structural features in the model for the first time - including the visually striking roof covers integrated into the front ends.
The locomotive appears in the classic bordeaux red livery, which was particularly eye-catching in the early days of the series. The bogies are complete with fine brake lines and give the model additional depth of detail. A harmonious appearance for authentic Reichsbahn trains of the 1970s and 80s.
The model is designed for analog DC operation. The headlights and marker lights can be switched via DIP switches. Four axles, one of which has traction tires, ensure good tractive power and a flywheel mass ensures smooth running. The integrated PluX22 interface also offers you the option of subsequent digitization.
With the Roco 7300107 BR 110, you get a precisely constructed, historically correct model that fits perfectly into Era IV. Ideal for model railroaders who value authentic looks, solid technology and retrofittable digital options. Now available in the model railroad store - secure this piece of GDR railroad history for your layout!
