The T466.2 was produced from 1977 as a lighter version of the T448 industrial locomotive by CKD Prague. Developed for medium-duty shunting and mainline service, it was built in a total of nine series with minor differences. With 494 units delivered, it was a real backbone of CSD's freight traffic.
