The 7320072 H0 diesel locomotive 68540 is a detailed reproduction of the SNCF museum locomotive. Between 1963 and 1968, the SNCF purchased 40 class A1A-A1A 68500 locomotives that were specially developed for heavy passenger and freight service. They are similar to the 68000 series, but are equipped with a less powerful AGO V12 engine from SACM. The locomotive with the road number 68540 was originally delivered in 1965 and fitted with a new engine in 2002. It has been part of the AAATV Centre Val-de-Loire association's fleet since 2011 and is used in its historic blue livery in front of special trains.
