About the prototype: In 1958, SGP presented the prototype for diesel-hydraulic narrow gauge locomotives - the later 2095 series. The locomotive is equipped with a 12-cylinder four-stroke engine with an output of 600 HP. The scheduled maximum speed was set at 60 km/h. Since its delivery, the 2095 012 was stationed at the Gmünd train haulage station. It was the only large diesel locomotive there for many years and was used for freight and passenger services. At the beginning of the 1990s, it was repainted in the Valousek design.
