With the T 679.1273, Roco is bringing an impressive diesel locomotive from the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) to the model railway layout in TT scale. The so-called "Sergej" stands for pure tractive power, robust construction and striking design - perfectly implemented in this finely detailed model of Era IV.

The "Sergej" - the backbone of freight traffic

From 1966, the ČSD received a total of 599 locomotives of this series. Some of these were delivered as broad gauge variants under the designation T 679.5. The powerful machines were primarily intended for heavy freight traffic and mastered long trains with ease - an image that still inspires railroad fans today.
