With the Czech State Railways (ČD) diesel locomotive 749 214-3, Roco is bringing a charismatic locomotive to the model tracks in TT. The locomotive, a representative of the well-known "Bardotka" family, impresses with its eye-catching special paint scheme and the typical beaded side walls of the 3rd construction series. A real highlight for fans of Czech railroad models.
The 749 series was created in the 1990s by converting the 751 and 752 series locomotives. Equipped with electric train heating, these locomotives could be used more efficiently for short passenger trains - without significantly changing the characteristic design of the original versions.
The Roco model shows the design of the third construction series with continuous side wall corrugations up to the roof edge - a typical distinguishing feature of this variant. The special paintwork is true to the original and supplemented with the finest printing. The locomotive is ideal for use in front of passenger and freight trains.
A powerful 5-pole motor with flywheel mass ensures smooth running characteristics. Two traction tires support traction on the layout. The LED headlights change with the direction of travel and ensure a realistic appearance during operation.
The Roco 7380026 diesel locomotive brings not only technical reliability, but also visual variety to the TT layout - ideal for collectors and friends of Czech railroad history of Era V.
