Description

The Roco diesel locomotive T 478 3153 of the Czechoslovakian State Railways (CSD) in Era IV is a finely detailed model that has many separately applied plug-in parts. This locomotive was used primarily in front of passenger and freight trains to the German and Austrian border stations. In addition, enclosed railroad scrapers in closed form are included for prototypical display case representation. In digital operation, the headlights or marker lights can be turned on individually.

The T 478.4, also known as the "diving goggles" or "spectacle snake", was developed and built at CKD in Prague. This further developed version of the predecessor type T 478.3 was equipped with a more powerful motor and an electric train heating system.
