The Roco 750 183-6 diesel locomotive of the Slovakian State Railways (ZSSK), affectionately christened "Dášenka", brings a striking piece of Slovakian railroad history to your TT layout. With this high-quality model conversion on a scale of 1:120, the legendary class 750 - known by the nickname "Diving Goggles" - is impressively depicted in all its technical and visual details. Technical features - powerful and digital

The locomotive has a powerful 5-pole motor with a flywheel and drives four axles. Two traction tires ensure optimum traction. The digital interface (Next18) is equipped with a sound decoder that reproduces realistic operating sounds. In addition, various light functions can be switched in digital operation, including a 3 headlights/2 tail lights in LED design depending on the direction of travel. The model is designed for direct current digital operation (DC Digital).

Other technical features

The minimum passable radius is 286 mm, which also allows use on compact TT layouts. The locomotive is equipped with an NEM 358 coupling shaft and close coupling kinematics. For showcase collectors, a set of closed track clearers is included, which presents the locomotive in a prototypical look.

Original prototype - History of the class 750

After the division of Czechoslovakia, Slovakia took over numerous locomotives of the CSD 753 series. Due to the increasing demand for locomotives with electric train heating, many locomotives were converted to the 750 series. The 750 183-6 was one of these converted locomotives and was used by the ZSSK in passenger service under the baptismal name "Dášenka". The striking front design earned the locomotive the nickname "diving goggles" - a name that is still known in the railroad scene today.
