Description

Car set consisting of three German State Railroad construction train cars. The set consists of a crew car, type BDme, a boxcar, type Gms, and a boxcar, type Gbs. The vehicle fleet of a railroad administration also includes a number of special wagons that are indispensable for the maintenance of the railroad facilities. Often they are old freight or passenger cars that have been specially adapted for their new purpose. One group of these special vehicles are the construction train cars. They can be found often parked as complete, colorfully assembled trains near track construction sites. As little noticed as these vehicles often are, they are nevertheless important for a smooth smooth operation of the railroad. Not least for this reason, these vehicles bring real railroad atmosphere to your model railroad layout as well.
