With its authentic design and many details, this model is a highlight for collectors and model railroaders who value historical accuracy and high-quality workmanship.
The 1041 series marked the entry of the company Simmering-Graz-Pauker AG (SGP) into locomotive development. The electrical part was supplied by leading companies such as AEG, BBC, ELIN and SSW. Between 1952 and 1954, a total of 25 locomotives of this series were built, which were specially designed for use on branch lines.
Locomotive 1041.11 was put into service in Salzburg in 1953. With its factory number SGP-Graz 52742/1952 and an electrical part from BBC, it represents the engineering skills of its time. After several decades of reliable service, the locomotive was taken out of service on November 30, 2001. Its places of use, in particular Attnang-Puchheim, and its characteristic features make it a valuable piece of Austrian railroad history.
The Roco 7500133 is a masterpiece of model making. The model impresses with its precise reproduction down to the smallest detail. This includes roof versions with AEG main switches, finely etched roof walkways and separately attached windshield wipers. The raised decorative lines and the authentic design with adhesive numbers and the ÖBB logo ("Pflatsch") round off the picture.
This model is designed for the H0 scale and a 2-wire direct current system (DC). The locomotive has a switchable headlight and marker light that can be controlled with a DIP switch. With a length over buffers (LüP) of 176 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm, the model is ideal for various layout sizes. The lighting is provided by long-life LED light sources that allow the light to change from red to white.
The Roco 7500133 impresses with its true-to-original design. The front windows set in rubber, the reproduction of the lifting hooks on the roof as separate plug-in parts and the authentic color scheme make this model an eye-catcher. The finely etched roof walkways and the realistic depiction of the track clearers underline the attention to detail.
