The Roco electric locomotive 1044.53 of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) is a precise replica of one of the most powerful locomotive models of Era IV. The model is designed for operation with direct current (DC) and has a switchable head and tail light that can be adjusted using a DIP switch. The lighting is provided by maintenance-free LEDs that enable a red-white light change. Thanks to the NEM shaft with close coupling kinematics, the locomotive can be easily integrated into train sets. With a minimum radius of 360 mm, it is suitable for all standard H0 track systems.
