With the Roco 7500190 electric locomotive 140 423, Roco presents a successful model realization of the well-known standard locomotive series 140 in the version of Deutsche Bahn AG during Era V. This locomotive is now part of the DB Museum collection and embodies an entire era of German rail transportation with its classic design and technical robustness.
The model impresses with its true-to-original design with:
With four powered axles, a traction tire axle and integrated flywheel mass, the locomotive is ideally equipped for prototypical operation. The PluX22 interface allows simple digitization. Coupling is via an NEM 362 shaft (without close coupling kinematics), which ensures a high level of compatibility with standard wagons.
The 140 423 locomotive was built by Henschel in 1966 and was used in freight and passenger train services for decades. Today it belongs to the DB Museum and is therefore not only a mobile technology carrier, but also a photo motif and symbol of the longevity of German locomotive technology.
The Roco 7500190 BR 140 423 is an excellent model for fans of classic DB vehicles and standard locomotives. Perfect for prototypical Era V layouts or as an individual item with a historical background.
