Current Vectron locomotive for NS International

The 193 934 was delivered to ELL (European Locomotive Leasing) in March 2023 and, after a short lease to Flixtrain, was handed over to NS International in September 2023. There it will be used in cross-border services - for example between Amsterdam and Berlin and on night train services to Austria and Switzerland. The elegant look with blue trim right up to the bottom edge of the door makes it a real eye-catcher.

Detailed design inside and out

With this model, Roco relies on a true-to-original implementation: The multi-colored control panel and the rear wall of the driver's cab are particularly noteworthy. The exterior appearance also corresponds exactly to the NS livery - ideal for modern layouts with international operation.

Analogue operation with the option of digitalization

The locomotive is designed for analogue DC operation, but has a PluX22 interface for easy retrofitting with a digital decoder. Four axles are powered, one of them with traction tires, and a flywheel ensures smooth running characteristics. The headlights/tail lights can be switched on and off manually thanks to a DIP switch.

For modern Era VI trains

With a length over buffers of 218 mm and standardized close coupler kinematics, the locomotive can be optimally integrated into existing train formations. It is ideally suited for current passenger trains and night trains throughout Europe.
