Are you looking for a historically significant electric locomotive for your Era II layout? The E 44 015 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn brings an icon of early electric traction to your H0 tracks as a proven bogie locomotive with numerous fine details and technical precision.
Almost 200 locomotives of the E 44 series were built between 1932 and 1954. With an output of around 2,200 kW and a top speed of 90 km/h, it was considered a universal locomotive that proved its worth in both passenger and freight transport. The E 44 set the style for the development of future standard locomotives - including the E 44.5, E 93 and E 94.
The model from Roco faithfully reproduces the E 44 015 in the Era II design of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Large Reichsbahn standard lamps, SBS 10 pantographs with innovative attachment and extra windshield wipers ensure an authentic look. A clear view through the driver's cab and the colorful rear wall underline the high-quality impression.
The locomotive is equipped with a powerful drive (four axles powered, one with traction tires), flywheel and PluX22 interface. The LED headlights with direction-dependent light change provide a realistic operating image. The model is suitable for radii from 358 mm and is equipped with NEM 362 couplers including close coupler kinematics.
The Roco 7500198 E 44 015 is a must for all fans of historic electric locomotives and the DRB era. Now available in the model railroad store - for detailed train layouts in the pre-war era!
