Description

The 185.2 series is an electric dual-system locomotive with a crash-optimized locomotive body from Bombardier Transportation. It can be used on both the 15 kV/16 2/3 Hz and 25 kV/50 Hz AC voltage systems commonly used in Europe.

The 185 389 was delivered to DB AG in 2009 and is licensed for Germany and Austria. The locomotive was given an eye-catching special design as part of an extensive cooperation between the DB AG Group and the car manufacturer Audi for the transportation of new cars.
