Description

The Munich-based company Lokomotion has been operating transalpine freight services for more than twenty years. It is now well-known among railroad enthusiasts for its diverse fleet of "Zebra" locomotives. Be it via the Brenner axis to Italy or the Tauern route to Slovenia as well as the Danube axis towards Eastern Europe. Lokomotion provides the transport services in close cooperation with DB Cargo and the Italian Rail Traction Company, which are shareholders in the Munich-based company. The blue stripes stand for Bavaria and the red stripes for South Tyrol.
