Are you looking for a powerful and digitally perfectly equipped electric locomotive for Czech freight traffic in Era V? The Rh 121 046 of the České dráhy (ČD) brings Eastern European flair to your H0 layout with digitally switchable lighting, high-quality sound and the finest design - ideal for authentic Era V scenarios.
The Rh 121 is based on the Skoda works type 43E (formerly E 469.1), which was introduced to the ČSD in the early 1960s. It was specially designed for the 3 kV direct current network in northern and eastern Bohemia. With an output of 2,032 kW and a maximum speed of 90 km/h, it became a reliable locomotive for heavy freight transportation - even under the successor company ČD.
Roco has produced this locomotive in the current operating condition of the ČD, including a wide yellow front stripe. The delicate design of the bogies and spoked wheels, the finest metal wheel sets with low wheel flanges and pantographs with innovative fastening characterize this model. In digital operation, the headlights/tail lights, cab lighting, engine room lighting and running gear lighting can be switched separately.
The locomotive is equipped with a PluX22 sound decoder and a buffer capacitor - for a stable power supply and realistic sound reproduction. A powerful drive with four powered axles (one with traction tires) and flywheel mass ensures smooth running characteristics. The locomotive can be used on radii from 358 mm without any problems.
The Roco 7510135 Rh 121 046 is a highlight for all fans of Czech rail transport. Now available in the model railroad store - for impressive freight trains of era V in H0!
