From the 1950s, the class Da locomotive shaped electrified rail traffic in Sweden. With an output of around 2,000 kW, a top speed of 100 km/h and designed for the 15 kV system, it could be used in a variety of ways - for both passenger and freight services. Its robust design ensured that it remained in service for decades into the 1990s - a true endurance runner from the SJ!

Model update with many new features

The current Roco version scores with numerous upgrades: In addition to the new PluX22 sound decoder, the locomotive has SAB wheels for the first time - characteristic of SJ vehicles - as well as separate rail scrapers with individual shovels. Particularly striking: the "Lollipop" markings on the front 1 and the original buffer beam without reinforcement - a must for prototype enthusiasts.
