Helvetia drives ahead - special design with a message

In April 2025, locomotive 193 452-0 received its spectacular livery as the "Switzerland Piercer". It is part of a four-part XLoad special series from SBB Cargo International - created in cooperation with Railcolor Design. While other countries were given different side motifs, the "Helvetia" is uniform on both sides - with stylized motifs that stand for the Swiss identity.

Digital technology for modern systems

The model is equipped with a PluX22 sound decoder that provides realistic operating sounds. Particularly innovative: Light functions can be digitally switched separately for CH, EU and IT operation. The locomotive also has switchable driver's cab and interior lighting - all using long-life LED technology. The roof design is prototypical with fine insulators and pantographs.

AC version for international model railroad operation

Three axles are powered, one with traction tires. An integrated flywheel mass ensures smooth running characteristics. Thanks to the NEM 362 coupling shaft with close coupling kinematics, the model is ideally suited for use in long container trains, KLV sets or international freight trains.
