The Roco 7520168 BB 26005 electric locomotive brings an exclusive highlight of the French State Railways (SNCF) to your H0 layout. Prototype and use

The BB 26005 belongs to the Sybic series, which has been an integral part of French express train service since the 1980s. The "Trains Spéciaux" service from SNCF Voyageurs makes it possible to reserve entire trains or parts of trains for groups and special trips. To identify the locomotives used for this service, selected Sybic locomotives were given a special color design. This design harmonizes perfectly with the luxurious sleeping cars of the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express and gives the locomotive an exclusive appearance.

Finely detailed model design

The model impresses with its filigree design and numerous high-quality components: Fine etched parts on the roof, realistic reproductions of the two different pantographs and razor-sharp printing showcase the locomotive in true detail. With its length of 204 mm, it fits perfectly into contemporary train compositions of Era VI.

Technical equipment

The locomotive is powered by a powerful 5-pole motor with a flywheel. Two axles are powered, two of them with traction tires, which ensures high tractive power. The direction-dependent LED headlights and marker lights provide prototypical operation. Additional French-style light functions and digitally switchable cab lighting are available in digital mode. The integrated PluX22 sound decoder provides an authentic acoustic experience and makes operation even more realistic.
