The Roco 7520173 Re 436 113 electric locomotive is an AC sound version of the popular Swiss Re 4/4 III, implemented in the current design of the private railroad Crossrail. This shape variant brings a breath of fresh air to your H0 layout with its new front design and modern technology - ideal for Era V-VI freight train scenarios with an international character.

Shape variant with private railway features

The locomotive impresses with a new front with large round headlights, as is typical for many Re 4/4s in private railroad use. The front was designed without a coat of arms and thus emphasizes the sober look of freight traffic. A BLS Cargo logo is included as a decal for optional mounting - ideal for individual design based on the prototype.

Sound and light in digital operation

The locomotive has a PluX22 sound decoder with high-quality driving and shunting sounds. The equipment is supplemented by:

• Swiss light change with switchable headlights/tail lights
• LED cab and engine room lighting, digitally switchable
• Interior lighting can also be switched digitally
• Buffer capacitor for reliable power supply on difficult sections

Optimized for model railway use

Crossrail - from regional rail to Alpine transit

Crossrail emerged from Regionalverkehr Mittelland AG (RM) and operates freight trains on the Italy-Switzerland-Germany route. The Re 436 113 is one of the five locomotives that were originally taken over from EBT and upgraded for modern transit traffic with ETCS - suitable for the Lötschberg and Gotthard base tunnels.
