New locomotive fleet for MAV

In the fall of 2023, the MAV Group leased 15 ES 64 U2 (BR 182) locomotives from Akiem to replace outdated V43 series machines. The 182 573-6 is equipped with ETCS and has approvals for several countries - including Hungary, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Romania and Serbia. It is regularly used in high-quality passenger train services between Budapest and Vienna.

Prototypical & true to detail

The Roco version shows the locomotive in the current design of the MAV-START and impresses with numerous details such as three pantographs for international use, finely engraved components and clean printing. A perfect addition for anyone who wants to recreate modern, multinational train services.
