Are you looking for a striking electric locomotive for your narrow gauge railroad? The Rh 1099.13 of the ÖBB in carmine red/ivory is a true classic of the Mariazell Railway and brings nostalgic charm with modern technology to your H0e layout - ideal for use in Era III and IV.
Between 1911 and 1914, 16 locomotives were put into service by the Lower Austrian State Railways especially for the Mariazell Railway at that time. In the course of modernization from 1959 to 1962, the locomotives received new bodies, but retained their original bogies. The locomotives impressed with their robust technology, 405 kW power and a top speed of 50 km/h - perfect for demanding use in alpine terrain.
Fleischmann/Roco has produced the 1099.13 in the typical carmine red/ivory of Era III. The locomotive is finely detailed, has separately applied windshield wipers and LED headlights that change depending on the direction of travel. The Next18 interface enables simple digitization - the model is therefore suitable for both analogue and digital operation.
With six powered axles, flywheel mass and a minimum radius of 261 mm, the locomotive is ideally suited for realistic operating scenarios on H0e layouts. It can be ideally combined with ÖBB stretch wagons or wagon sets from the Mariazell Railway.
The Roco 7540008 Rh 1099.13 brings Austrian railroad tradition to the model. Now available in the model railroad store - for detailed narrow gauge operation with historical flair!
