Are you looking for a narrow gauge electric locomotive with a strong character for your Mariazell Railway or H0e branch line? The ÖBB series 1099.13 in carmine red/ivory is a classic of Austrian narrow gauge railroad history - now with sound and modern digital functions for your model layout!
Between 1911 and 1914, 16 locomotives of this class were purchased especially for the Mariazell Railroad in Lower Austria. In the late 1950s, the locomotives were extensively modernized - the technology was largely retained, but the superstructures were redesigned. The striking paint scheme in carmine red/ivory was typical of the late Era III and early Era IV years.
Fleischmann/Roco supplies the 1099.13 with a wealth of fine details: separately applied windscreen wipers, detailed body, digitally switchable driver's cab lighting and LED headlights. In digital operation, the factory-fitted Next18 sound decoder provides realistic driving and operating sounds. The locomotive is fully state of the art.
The six-powered locomotive with flywheel mass is ideal for prototypical trains on the Mariazell Railway or other ÖBB narrow gauge lines. With a minimum radius of 261 mm, the locomotive is also ideal for use on compact layouts - ideal for use with frame cars, AB4ipho/s or historic freight cars.
The Roco 7550008 Rh 1099.13 is a must for all friends of Austrian narrow gauge railroads. Now available in the model railroad store - for detailed operation and nostalgic flair on your narrow gauge layout!
