With the Roco 7580022 locomotive set, Roco is bringing two class 140 electric locomotives from Erfurter Bahnservice GmbH (EBS) to the model railroad in TT scale. The two locomotives are fully equipped and ideally suited for reproducing typical EBS double tractions - as they have been regularly seen on German tracks for years.

Modern implementation of a proven classic

The class 140 is one of the best-known locomotives of the German Federal Railroad. Many of these locomotives found a second life on private railroads such as EBS after being taken out of service - often in black livery and used for freight traffic. The set recreates this modern use case prototypically.

For the first time with Next18 interface - for simple digitization

Both locomotives have a Next18 interface and are therefore easy to digitize. A 5-pole motor with flywheel mass ensures excellent running characteristics. A total of eight axles are powered, four of them with traction tires - for maximum traction on long freight trains.

Fine details & LED lighting

The roof equipment is detailed and corresponds exactly to the prototype. The direction-dependent LED headlights (3x white / 2x red) ensure a realistic operating appearance. Thanks to the NEM 358 shaft with close coupling kinematics, the set is fully operational and ideal for layouts with tight radii from 286 mm.
