Roco 76591 Rungenwagen, SBB, Ep. VI Product Details

Description

Roco 76591 Stake wagon, SBB, Ep. VI

The "Roco 76591 stake wagon" of the Res class is a modern four-axle freight wagon of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) from Era VI. The H0 model impresses with its prototypical realization, stanchions on both sides and a realistic load with wire rolls, which are securely fixed against slipping by the stanchions.

Product details

Manufactured on a scale of 1:87 for H0 gauge, the wagon has a length over buffers of 229 mm. The model is designed for the 2-conductor direct current system, but can also be converted for alternating current operation with the separately available AC wheel set (item no. 40183). The NEM 362 coupler pocket with close coupler kinematics ensures prototypical car spacing and reliable running characteristics.

Design & workmanship

The design of the wagon is detailed and exactly reflects the design of modern stake wagons. The stanchions are firmly mounted and hold the wire wheels securely in place. The high-quality paintwork and precise printing give the model an authentic look.

Possible uses

The Roco 76591 is ideal for use in modern Era VI freight trains. The wire coil loading makes it particularly suitable for industrial and steel transport trains. It can be operated both individually and in combination with other Res stake cars to form realistic block trains.
