Design & workmanship

Technical features & special functions

The railcar is equipped with a PluX22 sound decoder (MX685P16/MN300P16) that provides sounds that are true to the original. The sidecar has a function decoder. Both cars have switchable light functions including LED headlights, switchable interior lighting and additional light functions. Two powered axles with a flywheel ensure smooth running. A buffer capacitor ensures safe operation in the event of brief contact interruptions.

Historical background

The M 152.0 series was procured by the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) from 1975 to replace the outdated M 131.1 railcars. With 155 kW of power, a maximum speed of 80 km/h and 56 seats in the passenger compartment, these vehicles became the backbone of branch line transportation in the ČSSR. The 0262 railcar is a typical vehicle of the time in its original livery.

Compatibility & expansion options
