With the Roco 7710036, the iconic InterCity tilting train ICN (RABDe 500) of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB ) appears in a technically and visually revised version - for the first time in Era VI and with DC sound and digitally switchable interior lighting. This five-car high-speed train is christened "Auguste & Jacques Piccard" and is ideal for realistic Swiss long-distance traffic scenarios on your model railway layout.
Since the end of the 1990s, the ICN has been the backbone of SBB's winding long-distance services. Thanks to active tilting technology, it can negotiate curves at up to 30 % higher speeds - without any loss of comfort. It runs regularly between cities such as Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Lucerne, Lugano and St. Gallen.
The Roco 7710036 ICN is ideal for modern SBB train scenarios and can be harmoniously combined with platforms, Swiss signal systems and other Era VI trains.
